The sessions are a unique blend of gentle fitness class and group session for mothers with babies. The sessions start with stretching and strengthening session that is based on pilates, yoga and traditional fitness exercises where mums are welcome to hold baby in hands or have the baby on the mat. The sessions always finish with discussions about parenting and its highs and lows over tea and biscuits. This allows you to get to know other mums in the group and share experiences.
The sessions are facilitated by Kasia who has over 5 years experience of leading fitness and life coaching sessions and working with groups.

How will it benefit me?
The exercise part of the sessions gives the opportunity for the new mum to stretch and strengthen her body and also focuses on pelvic floor and abs separation to let the new mother come back to strength after pregnancy and childbirth. The second part gives mums an opportunity to meet with other mums in those first few months after birth and to receive parenting information and support while making new friends.
Will it benefit my baby?
It is never too early to introduce fitness in baby’s life to improving baby’s sensory-motor development and meeting baby’s need for motion and interaction with other babies as babies love to socialise with other babies and adults. It is never too soon to make friends that could then become friends to play with in the park in the future. The sessions also give the opportunity for the mum to exercise with baby in hands or sling which strengthen the parent-child bond.
