I’ve heard many people talking about morning routine and I do too occasionally. I did a live Facebook yesterday in my group Edinburgh & Beyond Active Mums and said about the morning routine and that I took it out instead of doing a workout at home. Just when I said that I started to think about my morning routine and what it gives me as well as how regular I am with it.
What are your thoughts about it?
I personally feel much better if I do my morning things. I feel more energised and also I feel that I’ve already accomplish something during that day. Being a mum, and I’m sure many of you can relate, doesn’t mean that I have all the time in the world to do whatever I want. Well, the truth is that sometimes I can only do the essentials of my routine as Gabriel needs my attention.
Let me tell you what I do and then I look forward to read what you do 🙂
I have a nutritional drink to start my day, I have it while preparing breakfast for Gabriel. I would then feed my little angel and then once he much on his fruits I put my affirmation track on and do my sun salutations or other exercises or stretches. I then have a glass of water and I’m ready for my breakfast and a good coffee!
That’s easier write/say then sometimes done but my essentials are the nutritional drink and some movement (sometimes it’s a power walk if I need to be somewhere early in the morning).
I noticed that when I have days that I neglect my routine I don’t feel 100% so I strive to do it every day, except of Sunday as that’s a relax day. I sometimes choose to do exercises on Sunday but I am a strong believer that we all need a beak every once in a while!
